Summary:
The Operations Supervisor’s role supports the business strategies and activities of the Honolulu office by ensuring their staff complies with the productivity, quality and timeliness metrics.
Essential Job Functions:
Manage Workflows
Manage flow of work performed by Operations staff, to and from Underwriters, assuring service, productivity and timeliness via Image Right and analysis of reports and re-allocation of work, when required.
Insurance and Technology Resource
-Collaborates with local I/T regarding systems support, performance and problem resolution. Performance Management, Development & Training
-Work with Operation manager to manage the day-to-day development of the Operations staff regarding coaching, counseling, and the Performance Review Process. This includes:
Rating all program transactions including new business, renewals and endorsements.
Booking and issuing all program transactions.
Use of proper forms and endorsements.
Bureau, DMV and various third party reporting requirements.
Conduct quality reviews of policy files and transactions, i.e., new business, renewals.
Office Management
-Ensure adequate staffing at all times by supervising the staff’s scheduled attendance and providing back up support so that business needs are met
Requirements:
-College degree a plus.
-Supervisory experience preferred.
-Excellent customer service skills and strong communication skills including the ability to interact with all levels of the organization and with outside vendors.
-Commercial lines rating and policy process experience a plus.
-Facilities Management experience a plus.
-Demonstrated leadership ability.
-Exceptional knowledge of Microsoft software – Word, Excel, and Outlook.
-Will abide by departmental policies and procedures, including authority levels, to comply with C&F’s risk management controls.
