We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide senior level support to the Corporate VP of CRM in the Microsoft Business Solutions organization.
As an Executive Assistant, you will take on a variety of roles, working with a dynamic group of people. Your ability to adjust direction in response to changing work situations, to accommodate different working styles and to prioritize and manage your own work and tasks will be critical to your success. This position offers a variety of core administrative functions, as well as the responsibility for executive-level interfaces within the org and across the company, working closely with the CVP’s leadership team and overseeing an administrative team. This position has outward facing contact with customers and partners, as well as frequent contact with all levels of Microsoft employees.
The position will be responsible for proactively managing a complex calendar with utmost attention to accuracy, detail and timeliness; coordinating and scheduling both internal and external meetings; arranging complex domestic & international travel including in depth field visits; arranging team morale events and/or broader division-wide events; providing leadership and mentoring to other administrative support staff - includes holding monthly administrative meetings; maintaining organizational charts; processing expense reports for CVP; overseeing space and represent group in occupancy planning; managing confidential information; and partnering closely with Finance to maintain budget compliance.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5-7 years of demonstrated success in supporting a senior executive in a fast-paced environment. Additional requirements include: excellent attention to detail, organizational, analytical, and communication skills; maintaining utmost confidentiality with sensitive and personal information; ability to make independent decisions; ability to juggle multiple projects at once; consistently demonstrate a "can-do" attitude; solid project-management and problem-solving skills; eager and able to work effectively under pressure within short time constraints, and in relatively ambiguous and complex situations. Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required. Knowledge of corporate organizations and ability to navigate it and knowledge of departmental business practices and tools strongly preferred. Previous Microsoft experience also preferred. Overtime and light travel may be required.
