Entry-level Field Service Technician/Installer

Job Description:
We are seeking a self-motivated and technically oriented individual with electrical/electronic education and/or experience for the position of Field Service Technician/Installer. Individual must be familiar with reading circuit diagrams and various electronic trouble-shooting techniques, and have an aptitude for computer operations. Applicants must have excellent communication skills as they will be required to teach the operation of instruments to users. While being familiar with networks, having refrigeration experience, and a chemistry background would be helpful, these skills are not a requirement. For this position, approximately 50%-80% of time will be spent travelling throughout the United States and all travel expenses are reimbursed. Individual will be responsible for installing and servicing our complete line of testing instruments that measure the physical properties of liquids. Training for the full product line will be provided.
Responsibilities:
- Complete provided training
- Learn our products and service procedures
- Execute electronic trouble-shooting techniques
- 50%-80% of position is travelling (all expenses reimbursed)
- Installing and servicing our complete line of testing instruments
- Training users on the proper use and operations of these instruments
Requirements:
- Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school and/or other combination of technical training through the military, apprenticeship, or other equivalent training/experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Self-motivated and technically oriented
- Electrical/electronic education and/or experience
- Familiarity with circuit diagrams and electronic trouble shooting techniques
- Computer aptitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Interact with customers in a professional manner
- Pass a drug screening prior to employment and throughout the course of employment
