JOB DESCRIPTION
Candidate will be a member of the IT ? Finance team supporting the Global Accounting Operations group and will work across all aspects of software development within a high energy team. The team provides a golden source of reconciled and auditable data for downstream consumption, as well as high level reporting for various business segments. The application(s) is a reconciliation and research tool used by the client.
Responsibilities:
?Candidate will be working within a small group using C#/WPF/WCF and T-SQL to complete the coding of the assigned project within prescribed timeframes.
?Prepare prototypes for architecture layers for the applications and database
?Provide support to development teams
?Monitor all phases of projects and assist in developing specifications and architecture design for application systems
?Assist domain experts and analyze business requirements for clients.
?Monitor everyday activities of system and provide require support
?Develop effective UI/UX using MVVM for various business processes
?Should be able to take a Business Requirements Document and conduct an analysis to generate both a Technical and Functional Spec.
?Will be required to participate in formal and informal code-review sessions
?Code will have to be written in the most efficient manner possible using proper OO methodologies.
?Will be responsible for choosing the right design patterns for the task at hand
?Will be involved in the full SDLC of the project
?Gather customer software requirements and develop related software applications and programs
?Research and evaluate software related technologies and products
?Design and develop testing and maintenance procedures and activities
?Develop and write high quality coding that meets business user requirements
?Create software documentation and update existing documentation
?Design, develop and implement critical applications in a .Net environment
?Assist and support other team members on multiple projects Implement best practices, standards and procedures including quality and delivery methodologies
?Ensure compliance with the documented software processes and procedures throughout the life cycle of software products
?Prepare unit tests for code that is being developed
?Prepare and maintain code for various dot Net applications and resolve any defects in systems
?Participate in status meetings for projects and prepare new proposals and draft strategies
?Undergraduate degree required. Graduate degree is a plus.
?Minimum of 3 years experience as a Tech Lead
?7-10 years of C#
?3+ years of WCF
?3+ years of WPF
?5+ years of T-SQL with Strong Relational database background
?Project Management experience
?Experience working in Agile/Scrum Methodology
?Must be a team player and able to work with and through others
?Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities
?Ability to Reprioritize work items based on business needs
?Knowledge of ORM?s
?Demonstrable knowledge of effective UI/UX design
?Understanding of TFS and Branching
