Duties:
Seeking Board Certified or Board Eligible ENTThe incumbent will provide complete diagnostic and health management services related to specialized care in Otolaryngology. Provides a full range of diagnostic, therapeutic and operative procedures for patients in the outpatient, inpatient and operative settings Provides consultative services on patients referred from other sections of the medical center and provides emergency ENT services as assigned. Coordinates and communicates care between VA facilities and other healthcare facilities outside of the VA system. Performs administrative components of patient care management such as: provides dictation of progress notes, operative reports, discharge summaries, and consultative services for inpatients and outpatients. Responds to patient telephone calls, informs patients of test results, and renews prescriptions. Basic computer skills are required using the computerized system of VistA and CPRS for ordering and entries into the electronic medical record.
Appropriate licensure is required. Current BLS is required.
Tour of Duty: Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:30pm and rotating weekends and call coverage
