Reporting into the Senior Director, Infrastructure Operations the Oracle eBusiness Suite Administrator will be responsible for providing technical leadership and assistance for Oracle eBusiness Suite and technology products supported by the ERP Team.
This position will be focused on supporting the client engagements requiring Oracle eBusiness Suite Administration and also supports applications and database needs.
Supported systems will span all flavors of Windows, UNIX, and Linux.
In addition to hands-on technical work, the Oracle eBusiness Suite Administrator will provide assistance to project teams with architecture design, upgrades, performance tuning, systems stabilization, documentation development and the creation of project deliverables.
The incumbent will also be responsible for release management tasks.
Installupgrade Oracle database (10g11g12c) required by E-Business suite Manage oracle databases including space utilization, service monitoring, capacity planning, performance tuning Implement and support oracle advanced features like RAC, ASM Data Guard when needed.
Establish disaster and recovery procedures to meet business owners SLA.
Implement maintenance procedures including backup and recovery methods Interacts with infrastructure team networksecurity, system and storage admins as required to maintain environments and troubleshoot problems Secure database and application environments as per Oracle and company standards.
Implement E-Business multi-node environment with high availability options.
Work with RICEW team to determine system data management requirements, implements supporting databases and monitors performance.
Clone application environments from the Production environment on a defined schedule or as required Apply application software patches – Corrective maintenance (break-fix), preventive maintenance (patches, service packs) Support Processes – batch management, interface management, logical database management Release and migrate development and configuration changes between environments Identify and perform first-level analysis of application problems including concurrent managers, reports and forms.
Participate in troubleshoot and resolve activities (for technical product level defects) when required Identify and implement the appropriate application and database tuning to support target response rates Work with Oracle Support through Metalink support system to resolve issues with Oracle software.
These activities may have to be coordinated with application DBA Sys Admin and TRAC business resources.
Responsible for all Oracle e-Business Technology, Oracle e-Business Installation Rel 11iR12, Oracle e-Business Database Management, Oracle e-Business System Administration Secure database and application environments as per Oracle and TRAC standards Database creation DBA skills (physical and logical design) Knowledge of Oracle Identity Management administration, Oracle Web Center administration, Oracle Weblogic Application Server installation and administration, and Oracle Fusion Middleware Be available on-call for business critical and priority 1 issues which might include coordinating with network, system, storage admins and Oracle Support For consideration, email resume to allison.Smithrht.
Job Requirements Requirements 7+ years experience installing, configuring, administering, tuning, and troubleshooting Oracle eBusiness Suite on Linux, UNIX and Windows environments A Bachelor degree is preferred.
Extensive experience and in depth knowledge of application administration and strong DBA background in eBusiness Suite.
Experience installing, configuring, administering and troubleshooting of Oracle Fusion Middleware products (SOA, OBIEE, Endeca, ODI, SOA, OBIEE and ASCP).
