The PACS ROC (Remote Operational Centre) Technical Support Engineer is a Level 3 support providing remote technical support services for GE HCIT PACS products to external and internal customers in Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Provide level 3 support to regional HCIT Service engineers to facilitate the resolution of technical issues
- Perform analysis of determined incidents to establish root cause and develop knowledge of service teams to avoid repeated incidents
- Manage multiple investigations with varying severity ensuring that problem/incident are prioritized
- Promote Teamwork within ROC and ensures global technical standards are met, building effective relationships with the service and engineering teams
- Proactively share knowledge, contributes to problem solution database and provision of product trainings to service/ROC teams
- Work collaboratively with remote L4 teams to excel in remote investigation of incidents/problem investigations
- Participate in a 24×7 on-call shift rotation for the support of the GE HCIT PACS product lines
- Contribute to service initiatives, activities to enhance the service experience
Minimum Requirements:
- Degree in an IT related field or equivalent
- Knowledge of relational database systems such as Sybase/MS SQL server
- Knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems
- Good communication skills – written and oral.
- Inspire confidence and communicate with customers from different levels in a professional manner
- Self-motivated and able to work autonomously
- Strong analytical capability
- Ability to work effectively under pressure to tight deadline
- Aptitude to define actions plans to execute issue resolution
Preferred requirements:
- Previous support experience of a PACS solutions
- Knowledge of GE Healthcare products
- Clinical Medical workflow
- Database Admin experience
- ITIL foundation certification
