Shaw Lundquist is currently taking applications for:
Carpenters well rounded in Symons Steel Ply concrete forming systems
Laborers experienced in concrete placement and all phases of commercial construction.
Construct and erect forms for the placement of footings and poured foundation walls.
Job Duties
Measure and mark cutting lines on materials, using ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge.
Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment.
Shape or cut materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saw.
Knowledge of construction trades, practices, procedures, techniques, tools and equipment, materials, specifications, quality control, cost control, and safety.
Job Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Two years of relevant experience in concrete forming
Ability to perform tasks on all areas and aspects of construction project.
Ability to climb ladders for heights of up to 60 feet, and crawl for distances of 50 feet.
Ability to work with tools, lumber and materials.
Ability to lift and manipulate objects of up to 80 lbs for 50 feet is required.
Must consent to and pass drug testing.
Note: 99% of time is spent working at job sites. Some driving is required. Valid driver’s license is required.
