Administrative Assistant, Catawba to Career & Career Services job - Catawba College - Salisbury, NC

Catawba College invites applications for the position of Administrative Assistant for Catawba to Career & Career Services. This position is part of the college’s new initiative based on the current Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP). This initiative, the Catawba to Career (C2C) program, is designed to provide expanded career awareness opportunities for students. This position will also support Catawba’s Career Services. Both C2C and Career Services will be organized under the Office of Academic Affairs beginning fall 2015.

Qualifications:
Minimum of associate’s degree


Work experience in higher education


Exceptional computer skills, especially using Microsoft Office


Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


Ability to interact well with faculty, students, and other staff members


High level of organization and ability to multi-task; self-starter


Responsibilities:
Maintain databases, reports, and files on C2C initiatives


Scheduling appointments


Correspondence and mailings


Assist in planning workshops and events
