Scheduling Assistant
MetLife is looking for outbound scheduling associates to interact with financial advisers, office managers, back office contacts, and other financial professionals to provide unparalleled service. Responsible for cultivating and building relationships within the sales organization and will make a significant contribution to region’s achievement of sales objectives as part of a cohesive team.
Principal Responsibilities/Job Function:
Excellent communication skills, time and project management skills and particular attention to detail. Phone manners a must.
Work with external and internal sales team to coordinate all daily phone contact by building and maintaining the territory calendar.
Increase the number of meetings for external wholesaler.
Creates a plan each day and executes to it.
Follows through on agreed upon action steps and commitments.
Place a minimum of 50 calls a day.
Willing to build a working knowledge of broker dealers, and use relationship building skills to schedule appointments.
Assistance with call-out campaigns for revenue clinics as needed.
Composes letters, memos and additional correspondence. Tasks may include: Monthly Mailings, Blast Emails and Thank you /Birthday Cards to brokers and clients.
Identifies their own personal/professional development goals and creates a plan to work towards them.
You are a cohesive team player and self-motivated individual contributor.
Ad hoc projects as needed. This role is highly administrative.
Required Qualifications:
Successful candidates will have 1 year or more of phone experience.
High School or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Intermediate knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong customer service skills.
