Coordinator of Guest Services - Buffalo Bills - National Football League - Orchard Park, NY





Position

The Coordinator of Guest Services will be responsible for coordinating and assisting with the guest services operation for the Buffalo Bills and Ralph Wilson Stadium. The individual will assist in supporting the team’s guest experience philosophy and fan experience initiatives that builds guest and team member satisfaction, loyalty and a growing engagement with the Buffalo Bills organization.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Provide support on all Guest Services and Event Operations initiatives as needed.

  • Coordinate and assist with the Guest Services training program, employee incentive programs and fan experience initiatives.

  • Assist with the hiring, training and scheduling of Guest Services and Local 200 team members.

  • Coordinate Guest Services staffing for game day and non-game day events. Coordinate the uniform distribution process for event staff.

  • Act as supervisor of part-time staff/team members during events.

  • Assist with responding to Guest Services related inquiries and comments as required and within a timely manner. Help manage incident tracking system for partners and team.

  • Perform administrative duties as needed such as written and verbal correspondence (writing letters/e-mails, answering phone calls), filing, ordering merchandise, researching programs, monitoring inventory, light manual labor, copying, reports, etc.

  • Assist in Events as needed.

  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree required, a master’s degree is preferred.

  • 1-3 years of experience in Guest Services or related field.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, team oriented, great service skills, ability to train and motivate people, problem-solving, multi-tasking and organizational skills.

  • Able to coordinate, plan prioritize and execute tasks in a fast paced, high pressure environment.

  • Work schedule must be flexible – evenings, weekends and holidays.

  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Power Point, ISS, ABI/TMSS helpful.

  • The ability to climb stairs, walk long distances and get in and around the stadium is required.

  • Strong computer skills are essential, Incident Management system skills preferred.

  • Experience working for a team, athletic department, or large sports venue is beneficial.
