Central Transport Inc., one of the leading transportation and logistics firms in the nation, is presently seeking out Operations Supervisor candidates for our Distribution Center located in Farmingdale, NY. We are looking for aggressive, forward thinking, and highly motivated candidates to manage in this fast-paced environment. Duties include, but are not limited to:


  • Managing inbound and or outbound freight flow

  • Provide leadership and accountability to team of drivers

  • Ensure facility Key Performance Indicator (KPI) goals are met and/or exceeded

  • Maintain a safe work environment compliant with state and federal DOT/OSHA standards

  • Ensure Central Transport’s operational model compliance

  • Provide / support a culture of excellence in quality of product to internal and external customers

  • Flexibility to work ANY SHIFT.

The ideal candidate will have:


  • Experience in a transportation, cross docking, or shipping and receiving environment

  • Strong leadership qualities

  • Desire to surround customer with excellence in service

  • High aptitude for technology

  • The ability to multi-task while being detail oriented

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • An associates or Bachelor’s Degree, preferred but not required
