We are currently have part time (approx. 25-29 hrs./week, including weekends) Dock Worker/Forklift Operator positions at our Los Angeles Service Center.
Responsibilities:
* Pre-tripping forklifts
* Pre-loading and posting unloading trailer inspections
* Safely unloading freight from trailers either using a forklift or manually
* Safely loading freight into trailers either using a forklift or manually
* Ensuring that freight moved matches all aspects of the associated movement bill or cross dock
* Complying with all aspects of dock paperwork procedures while moving freight
* Ensuring that the dock and associated areas are kept clean
* Maintaining a clean and orderly work area and safe environment
Qualifications/Experience:
* High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
* Minimum of one year prior experience required.
* Must be able to drive a forklift.
* Forklift certified preferred.
* Must be able to read, write and speak English.
