Summary Statement: Applies knowledge of basic office procedures such as sorting, posting, filing and other basic routine administrative/clerical tasks within such functional areas as finance, purchasing, or human resources or a specific project, business or technical unit. Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities: -Performs routine developmental assignments and applies standard solutions to problems or work situations of a routine or repetitive nature related to operating a multiple-line telephone system and performing the duties of receptionist. -May perform a variety of routine clerical, and other administrative duties as required. -Answers incoming telephone calls, determines purpose of calls, and forwards calls to appropriate personnel or department. -Responds to questions about organization and provides callers with address, directions, and other information. -Takes and delivers messages or transfers calls to voice mail when appropriate personnel are unavailable. -Retrieves messages from voice mail and forwards to appropriate personnel. -Welcomes on-site visitors, determines nature of business, and announces visitors to appropriate personnel. -Monitors visitor access and issues passes when required. -Receives, sorts, and routes mail, and maintains and routes publications. -Creates and prints fax cover sheets, memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents when necessary. -Performs other clerical duties as needed, such as filing, faxing, photocopying, and collating. Ancillary Job Functions and Responsibilities: Performs other duties as required. These duties may include assignments in job classifications other than the primary assignment.
Requirements:

Candidates must have professional and pleasant demeanor, be able to multi-task, and have good computer skills. Experience may be substituted for the formal education and training requirements in this section at the discretion of management. High School Diploma, GED or equivalent and six (6) months of office experience preferred, but not required. Telephone and/or customer service experience preferred, but not required.

Benefits:

1st Shift M-F 7:45 am to 5 pm. $13.50/hour
