Johnson Plastics, a national distributor of engraving, sublimation, and sign products is search for a full-time shipping/receiving clerk at our Lawrenceville, GA warehouse. We are looking for a person to work 40 hours a week during our normal work week of Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Responsibilities:
– To receive items shipped to our office and stock them on the shelves in their appropriate place
– To maintain accurate record of receiving
– To process packing slip in a timely manner
– Assure accurate and timely shipment of indicated items on the customers packing slip
– Select items with attention to stock rotation, cooler compatibility, and defects
– Process packing slips on the UPS manifest computer
– Assemble cartons using pads, spacers and fillers to secure and protect merchandise
– Perform other duties as assigned or required
Job Skills and Qualifications:
– Ability to read and write English sufficient to understand written directions and prepare written shipping instructions
– Ability to use and practice safe work habits
– Ability to provide assistance to other company personnel in a polite and cooperative manner
– Detailed oriented
– Ability to handle multiple tasks
– Possess mechanical ability to operate drill, saw and related
