We are seeking a Seal/Scribe Tech (Swing shift) based in Santa Clara, CA.

Position Overview:
Execute manufacturing and engineering process support activities for the production of amorphous silicon flat panel detectors.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
• Execution of manufacturing process operations in specified areas (Cesium/Seal/Scribe).
• Coating substrates with multi-layers using chemicals and in-house designed Evaporator equipments.
• Sets up, calibrates and prepares in-house mechanical systems for Sealing process.
• Perform Preventive Maintenance programs such as: Mechanical purging cryo pumps, re-gen and cleaning the Evaporator chamber machines.
• Requires working with chemicals.
• Requires visual acuity and ability to focus on details.
• Requires to work with a VERY flexible hours to get the job done.
• Tracking lots through PROMIS, data entry, equipment calibration, and process qualification.
• Works independently and diligently to meet production goals without supervision.
• Support maintenance of SPC program.
• Communicates with engineers, supervisors and lead technician to resolve problems.
• Requires working in a semiconductor fabrication facility.
• Support a safe working environment – Follow safety and environmental issues within PKI process environment.
• Support the panel fab ERT (emergency response team).
• Support best manufacturing practices and tools.

Job Requirements :
• Knowledge of Clean room Protocol.
• Experience in Vacuum system is a plus.
• Able to lift 30 lbs.
• Able to assist engineering on Design of Experiment (DOE).
• Able to identify the priority in the work area.
• Able to assist engineering on identifying the process issues.
• Able to recognize process and equipment related problems and report error to the right person.
• Able to do the minor trouble shooting on equipments.
• Performs the proper housekeeping on each equipment and performs any equipment monitors when required.
• Ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice.
• Experience with PROMIS.
• Training in SPC (statistical process control).
• Good written and oral communication skills.
