A well-established company specialising in men’s high fashion suits and casual jackets is looking to recruit an experienced Account Manager to join their highly motivated, successful and professional Operations Team.


Description


The role would include but not be limited to:


*Manage and oversee the relationship between Sales and the Customer to ensure that all new developments are adhering to the correct process and timeline to meet the customer’s requirements.
*Manage the relationship with the relevant merchandiser(s) in our overseas office with regular communication to ensure that the Critical Path and Order Book are being fulfilled in accordance with the customer’s requirements.
*Develop and maintain a good working relationship with the customer and ensure regular, accurate and efficient communication of the Critical Path and Order Book.
*Management of the critical path and order book
*Input of data into Exchequer and maintaining critical path updates in Exchequer
*Ensure that all unforeseen costs are authorised and recharged as appropriate and escalate to senior manager when necessary.
*Seek cost reduction opportunities where appropriate.
*Manage the Operations Assistant / Junior Account Manager (where applicable) and delegate work and responsibilities where necessary.
*Participate in ad-hoc project groups / meetings.
*To keep the Senior Account Manager informed of any business issues and to provide updates and reports as and when appropriate / required.
*Support and adhere to new policies and procedures implemented by the Senior Account Manager.


Profile


KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS


*Someone with experience in account management or supply chain with customer exposure
*Educated to degree level or equivalent, although we will consider applicants who are not educated to degree level if they have good experience of account management or can demonstrate good business acumen and career progression
*Confident with excellent organisation and communication skills
*Ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure
*Ability to build and develop excellent relationships with customers
*Keen to build on knowledge and experience in the fashion industry
*Customer / commercially focused
*Experience in account planning and business development
*Focus on delivery and continual improvement
*Team player and highly motivated individual
*International supply chain/ fashion industry experience is desirable, but not essential
*Good knowledge of Microsoft Office/Excel/Outlook


Job Offer


The competitive salary package includes contributory pension scheme (after completing probationary period), 25 days holiday per annum, day off on birthday, annual bonus (although not guaranteed) often around 10% of salary.


The position is ready for an immediate start. The person we are looking for will ideally have a fashion background and/or supply chain experience.
