Applications Training Manager job - CrescentCare - New Orleans, LA






Applications Training Manager will work with Information Systems Management team to monitor and facilitate optimization of Electronic Health Record and other agency systems. Assists with developing content for trainings related to transitions, upgrades, initiatives and other technology related competencies across the agency. The Applications Trainer must be comfortable performing wide range of tasks, working with a diverse user community, and speaking in front of large groups.


JOB DUTIES:


  • The Applications Trainer must define, plan, monitor and execute training needs including creating and staying on training schedules.

  • Serves as a liaison with regards to training needs as identified through a multitude of process including observations.

  • Develops and facilitates tactical training related planning activities

  • Works with IS team to promote accurate documentation in various systems to meet reporting requirements

  • Assesses for competency trainings needed

  • Develops and implements training needs after assessment

  • Develop and implements necessary protocols as needed

  • Maintains high level of awareness and recognition of situations that are possible risk issues and works diligently with IS team to mitigate or eliminate risks

  • Manages and leads multiple interrelated projects concurrently as well as manage daily operations

  • Involves appropriate individuals and groups when planning for IT-related projects or IT-related process changes

  • Actively participates in decision-making with the IS Management Team to change or modify policies, systems, resource allocations etc., in order to remove barriers and meet customer needs

JOB REQUIREMENTS:


  • Bachelors or relevant experience

  • Direct experience in management preferred

  • Must exhibit efficiency, collaboration, and candor and results orientation. Ability to exercise good judgment and political astuteness

  • Demonstrated ability to structure, drive and manage projects with complex multi-disciplinary issues to closure with minimal direction

  • Excellent written/oral communication skills required. Must be able to work effectively with diverse groups of people and communicate effectively with all levels of medical staff, physicians, vendors and consultants

  • Expertise using Microsoft Office, Excel and Power Point required

  • Ability to think proactively and function independently

  • Must be detail oriented and able to manage complex projects and multiple tasks

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

  • Proven knowledge of clinical workflows

  • Skills in using Microsoft Office functions
