The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation is a global leader in the fight against pediatric HIV and AIDS, working in 16 countries and at over 5,500 sites around the world to prevent the transmission of HIV to children, and to help those already infected. Today, because of the highly successful work of the Foundation and its partners, pediatric AIDS has been virtually eliminated in the United States. With a growing global staff of over 1,000—nine of 10 who work in the field—the Foundation’s global mission is to implement prevention, care, and treatment; further advance innovative research; and to execute strategic and targeted global advocacy activities to bring dramatic change to the lives of millions of women, children, and families worldwide.
Job Summary
The Awards, Compliance and Operations Temp position will serve as the main administrative point of contact for compliance and procurement tasks under the CDC-funded Project DELTA award.
Job Responsibilities:
1) Work with U.S. departments or country office staff as needed on sub-award processes and transactions that meet the needs of the project;
2) Maintain complete and accurate files of award documentation including outgoing awards, donor notices, and award deliverables,
3) Work with sub-recipients and consultants to develop and/or review sub-agreement or consultant budgets; and 4) Work with project team to track and obtain prior approval from the donor for requests related to project actions.
Required Qualifications
Knowledge of U.S. Government grant management regulations and policies and knowledge of contract management and procurement is not required, but would be considered a plus.
