Headquartered at the Port of Wilmington-Delaware with regional offices in Florida, Costa Rica, Guatemala and Honduras, full service NVOOC, Freight Forwarder and Terminal Operator, is looking for a Bilingual Operations Supervisor and a Specialist (English/Spanish) for our New Castle, DE location.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): coordinate with ocean carriers’ availability of containers on a timely fashion for weekly sailings. Negotiate with trucking companies to bring containers to yard. Organize, schedule and plan daily activities to make sure containers are loaded daily to meet weekly targets. Arrangement of transportation of loaded containers back to the Port. Oversee yard and warehouses operations, maintenance and organization. Ensures company is in compliance with OSHA regulations and maintains safe work practices. Crew supervision, training and discipline. Order supplies for the yard/operations. Perform administrative activities, including review of payroll support documentation.
