OVERVIEW & RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform tasks involving physical labor at heavy highway construction projects. This is a full time, seasonal position.
Have the ability and willingness to dig, spread and level construction materials with a shovel
Work with others to help complete tasks in a timely manner
Varying types of work including: digging, flagging, concrete work, backfill pipe
REQUIREMENTS
Willingness to obtain an OSHA 10 Hour Construction Safety Certificate
Passing a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and background check is required
High school diploma or GED is preferred
Must be at least 18 years old
Reliable transportation to and from work site
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Strong work ethic
A CDL license is a plus
Must have a clean motor-vehicle record
Ability to work in all types of weather
Working knowledge of general hand tools and power tools preferred
Prior construction and/or laborer experience preferred
