IT Security Specialist / Information Security Officer (ISO27001, CISSP) – High Wycombe – up to £60,000 + benefits
Due to continued growth an award winning and market leading international consultancy is looking for an Information Security Specialist to join their team..
Working closely with the technical teams, you will act as the subject matter expert for Information Security. This is a pivotal role in the global rollout and implementation of the ISO 27001 certificate, and it will also entail assisting with the management of the Information Security Management System (ISMS).
The Information Security Specialist will be looked upon to facilitate customer pen-tests in order to identify vulnerabilities and risks, and to act as an expert consultant for technical projects including software development.
In order to be suitable for this role, it is ESSENTIAL that you have come from a technical background such as a Software Developer, Application Developer, Network Engineer, Infrastructure Analyst, Systems Architect or similar.
Please ensure your CV clearly states your experience with the following:
*Knowledge of ISO 27001 – supporting audits
*Network Security principles – firewalls, routers, switches, network behaviour analysis, load balancers
*Strong understanding of servers, applications and end user computing
*Understanding of Business Continuity Planning (BCP)
*Security process implementation within an enterprise environment
*Experience developing and implementing corporate security procedures

You are likely to hold relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or similar, and / or a good degree in a discipline such as Computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering, or Mathematics. Should you have experience working with the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), this will be of benefit but is not essential.
