Summary Seeking a full-time Senior Java Developer.


We are looking for an experienced Java web developer to join our in-house eCommerce Systems team in collaboration with many other departments across the enterprise and within the IT department.


The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high performance multi-user web applications built on J2EE and Web Sphere Commerce.


Is comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.


Responsibilities Has strong experience with and is excited about development with the following technologies J2EE (Servlets, JSP, JSTLEL, Java Beans, EJBs), web services, HTML5, CSS3, Javascript (jQuery), Struts, Spring, Hibernate, and SQL.


Uses their technology background and available technologies to develop efficient and reliable solutions using the platforms listed above, following a full Software Development Life Cycle process.


Effectively coordinates with project team members to define application requirements and identify business needs.


Determines whether the stated requirements are clear, complete, consistent, and unambiguous, and works to resolve conflicts.


Analyzes business requirements, and communicates their technical solutions to the team and to end users.


Identifies technical risks associated with the development of a technical solution.


Enjoys understanding and solving problems.


Can provide production support and troubleshooting.


Works with the team to break down project tasks and estimates.


Knows their tools and how to be effective and efficient with them (Eclipse RAD, web browser debuggingintrospection, SVN, ANT, etc.


) Thoroughly tests their solutions (unit and integration testing), taking advantage of tools like J-Unit when possible Provides a high level of customer service to business partners and end users to achieve satisfaction with deployment of new features and resolution of problems.


Has strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team Requirements Has a Bachelorrsquos degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.


Has a minimum of 5 years of web application development using JAVA J2EE and object oriented design.


PREFERRED Application server administration experience in a multi-tiered, clustered environment IBM Certification for Web Sphere Commerce Web Sphere MQ JMS experience ERP and eCommerce experience.


Lawson M3, Web Sphere Commerce preferred.
