As a Senior Sales Engineer – Strategic Partnerships you will help identity & build a global ecosystem to support Apceras growth. This critical role will be a front line face to Apceras Technology & Channel Partners. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide expert assistance and support by clearly articulating Apceras technology and product positioning to both business and technical users
- Manage the technology strategy for our largest global partner for both OEM & resale
- Enable partner field teams to sell and integrate Apcera products into their solutions.
- Uncover and drive opportunities to engage further with partners.
- Assist in responding to end customer and partner requests for information and proposals
- Communicate Apceras vision by developing and delivering product demonstrations and workshops
- Execute product proof of concept activity designed to prove out both the technology and the value the technology delivers
- Identify all technical issues and ensure partner satisfaction through successful execution of the sales process
- Collaborate regularly with Product Management as a field representative regarding product development and enhancements, effectively conveying partner requirements
- Provide post-sales technical support
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 7+ years of demonstrated success in a customer facing pre-sales role selling an enterprise level solution at all levels of a customer organization.
- Experience in working with alliance or channel partners, co-selling or indirectly enabling sales opportunities
- Experience selling Cloud Platforms, PaaS, or Virtual Infrastructure software
- Telecommunications, or Managed Service Provider vertical experience
- Comfort working with multiple decision-makers to drive the sales process
- Very comfortable presenter of sales and technical material to both small and large groups (The ability to present impromptu and via whiteboard is necessary)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated and a self-starter, comfortable working remotely and autonomously
- Ability to travel regularly with the needs of the role
- A Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, related field or equivalent experience
