Service Engineer – Industrial Systems


As a UK Temperature Monitoring Leader, my client is searching for a Support Engineer to service a National client base. Operating in diverse sectors such as food manufacturing and processing, pharmaceutical labs, and hospitals, the Support Engineer will Install, Test, Calibrate and Maintain industrial Temperature Monitoring systems, whilst developing long term relationships with customers.


Outline of role
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a small but growing business, and a recognised specialist within their field. Working as part of an established, supportive and friendly team you will develop the skills and knowledge necessary to provide specialist advice on all aspects of temperature monitoring systems.


Specifically you will -


o Competently install and support a range of systems, after training


o Represent the company when on client sites


o Be a point of contact for clients when required


o Be on client sites at National locations for up to 80% of your time


Qualities required


  • Technical experience of electronic systems

  • Computer literacy, and familiarity with computer systems and networks.

  • Competence with Hand tools and test equipment

  • Well-presented and professional at all times

  • Effective written communication skills

  • Able to work collaboratively with others to form strong positive working relationships with colleagues, clients and contractors

  • Ability to work on own initiative and seek assistance when required

  • Ability to organise and prioritise workload to ensure that timescales are met

  • High level of attention to detail

  • Project a professional image to clients and colleagues

  • Demonstrate pride in work, through accurate timely delivery

  • A clean, full driving licence
