An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Finance Manager role for a progressive and fast growing business based in the High Wycombe. This role requires a strong business partner focusing on business development, setting strategy and supporting flawless execution of the business imperatives.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Be the business partner to the UK National Sales Directors.

  • Drive a commercial agenda for growth across the business, build strong relationships and maintain Commercial Finance at the heart of the sales process, including deal structuring, profitability and commercial negotiations where appropriate.

  • Provide a level of influence and direction to the Sales Directors and their teams, whilst also holding them to account for delivering Plan and Forecast.

  • Ensure that the vertical Sales Leaders have the right financial data and tools available to them in order to be able to monitor and manage their business pro-actively.

  • Ensure that the vertical Sales Directors understand the financial consequences of all options available to them impacting sales, revenue, opex and operating income.

  • Support the day-to-day activities of Commercial Finance for the UK National Sales channel, including all weekly flash reporting, monthly forecasting, annual planning, and collaborating with the FP&A team to receive and utilise regular operational reporting and other analysis.

  • Identify new business opportunities, support new product development, develop, implement and monitor pricing strategy, and play an influential role in both internal stakeholder and external customer negotiations.

  • Ensure that business is conducted according to US GAAP and all relevant financial controls are compliant with SOX at all times.

The ideal candidate for this role will be self-motivated, qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA accountant with strong commercial finance experience. You will have the ability to manage workloads to strict reporting deadlines, as well as to react flexibly to changes in requirements. The successful applicant will have strong experience working in a matric organisation, and working directly with a sales team.
