Customer Service Representative – Grove Hill, Alabama
This position will act as the initial contact with the customer. The successful candidate must be able to handle cashier responsibilities, bill inquiries and complaints, take applications for service, handle non-pay reconnects and make appropriate arrangements, handle telephone calls and make adjustments to accounts. The successful candidate should be knowledgeable of merchandise and electric service collection procedures and must have the ability to meet the public in a tactful and courteous manner. Applicant should be customer service oriented and must have a positive attitude, good communication skills, and strong initiative.
Experience Requirements
- Cash handling experience preferred
- Customer service experience preferred
- Electric and Merchandise collection experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well with external customers
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with customer and co-workers
- Excellent time-management, planning, and organizational skills
