Under direct supervision of LRV Supervision, the LRV Servicer will clean and service METRO Light Rail Vehicles, Rail Facility and Rail components in a safe, efficient and timely manner.
Responsibilities and Specific Duties:
Clean Light Rail Vehicles to include flooring, windows, passenger seats, oeprator cabs, interior panels, lighting fixtures, return air grills and vehicle ducting.
Checks and maintain appropriate levels of washer fluid and sand.
Performs detailed cleaning on Light Rail Vehicle and components as required.
Cleans and scrubs Rail Facility to include floors, pits and wash racks as assigned.
Responsible for safe handling of yard scrubbing equipment, shop scrubbers, forklifts and other specialized equipment.
Dispose of trash, debris and other material as assigned.
Operates METRO Rail non-revenue vehicles as required.
Works in a team environment to complete necessary cleaning in a timely manner.
Maintains a safe clean work environment.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications/ Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum two (2) years of stable work experience. Experience in building maintenance services preferred.
Valid Texas Drivers License required. Must obtain and maintain yard safety certification. Good (verbal and written) communication skills are essential. Able to complete/fill-out written reports, records and forms

A Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check is required prior to the placement of any individual in a position that requires the operation of a METRO revenue or non-revenue vehicle on behalf of METRO:
The Disqualifying Criteria is as follows:
- Invalid, suspended, or revoked driver’s license
- Conviction of driving under the influence (DUI) or driving while intoxicated (DWI) within the preceding three (3) years
- 2 or more DUI or DWI convictions with no time limit.
- Any accumulation of suspensions of over 1 year in length within the last 3 years
