DCS is company that provides Managed IT support to small to mid-market / medium sized businesses located throughout NY’s Hudson Valley, Northern NJ and NYC. We are currently seeking an experienced billing and cost accounting clerk with the right skills and character to join our small but growing team.
In addition to prior billing and accounting experience, here are some specific skills that could make you a great fit for this position:
- Previous Experience working at an IT or Tech support company
- Experience with service agreement billing
- Previous use of an IT industry specific software such as Quotewerks, AutoTask or ConnectWise
- Strong QuickBooks Skills
Requirements:
- Must be well organized but personable, firm and confident.
- We prefer local candidates
- Must possess strong critical thinking, analytical and research skills
- Must possess strong knowledge of reading, writing and arithmetic skills
- Strong Understanding of QuickBooks Enterprise
- Prior experience with cost accounting as you will need to be able to audit cloud service invoices from vendors for price changes
- Strong understanding of Sales Tax and the ability to understand service agreement billing
- Flexibility and a desire to learn about new technologies
