Equipment Operator/Laborer II - Clean Harbors - Port Arthur, TX

Description The Opportunity The Equipment Operator/Laborer II is responsible to operate heavy equipment and perform basic labor tasks. Key Responsibilities: Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times. Perform basic labor tasks using heavy equipment. Responsible for safe operation of heavy equipment. Perform all basic tasks assigned to a laborer -including using hand tools (shovel, rake, vacuum hose, and pressure washer), mastering equipment operation, assisting operators with all job duties such as Pre/Post Trip inspections; performing field level risk assessments; setting up equipment, ensuring proper usage of equipment, performing general duties required to complete work, (Debris removal, clean up, set up, etc.). Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management and will be required by the needs of the Clean Harbors business. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required 1+ years of industrial or construction experience required 1+ years of heavy equipment operation experience Heavy Equipment operation training/certification preferred General Mechanical Ability Clean Harbors is the leading provider of environmental, energy and industrial services throughout United States and Canada, as well as Mexico and Puerto Rico.
