A vacancy has arisen for an Insurance Admin Clerk based at our Head Office in Cressex, High Wycombe.
MAIN DUTIES
- Opening and distribution of post
- Collation of claims documentation in order to make an informed decision on liability.
- Liaison with depots, Solicitors & claims handlers in order to set up new and process ongoing claims
- Maintenance and updating of Biffa’s online claims system
- Collation of costs for non fault accidents and pursuing insurance companies for the recovery of these costs.
- Maintaining and actioning the diary system for Employers Liability and Motor claims
- Receiving and actioning calls from depots and claimants
- Other general duties your line manager may reasonably request of you
Experience/Qualifications
- Computer literate
- Good telephone skills
- Reliable
- Numerate
- Attention to detail
