Inventory Control Clerk job - The Hilliard Corporation - Elmira, NY
Responsible for daily administrative duties related to Production Control and Inventory Control processes, including but not limited to data entry, filing, and document distribution & control.
Primary Tasks:
1. Run Cycle Count Selection and provide to shop Cycle Counter.
2. Collect and Organize data entry documents (receivers, picksheets, etc.) from pre-defined shop locations.
3. Perform Data Entry processes from collected documents.
4. File and/or Distribute completed data entry documents.
5. Run and Distribute Shortage Reports, and “Clocked-on” Shortage Reports.
6. Sort and Distribute “clean” Shop Packets that are ready to be released to Manufacturing.
7. Review picksheets from completed shop packets for material discrepancies, and resolve any observed material discrepancies prior to order close-out. Communicate resolved discrepancies to Production Control personnel.
8. Tear-down and Organize Shop Packets from completed Manufacturing Orders. Close-out completed orders, and submit closed Shop Packets for electronic archiving.
9. Resolve Cycle Count discrepancies, and complete Cycle Count data entry process. Communicate resolved discrepancies to Production Control personnel.
Secondary Tasks:
1. Generate Nameplates, Preference Lists, and related data as-required.
2. Assist Production Control Personnel with data entry tasks when resource limitations require.
3. Provide Inventory information and parts location information on-request.
4. Perform other related duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Requirements:
1. AS Degree or equivalent experience.
2. Maintain cooperative and open communication with all personnel and departments.
3. High computer proficiency in Microsoft office software
4. Be able to perform duties in an ever-changing fast paced environment.
5. Perform other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.
