The position works within the Business Unit of finance, which incorporates financial planning, analysis, and control activities. The primary purpose of this role is to ensure that all forecasting, budgeting and financial analysis (operational, cashflow and capital) is accurate, complete and submitted within specified timeframes. In addition this role is responsible for business decision support, analysing variances in actual results to plan and preparing budget and forecast schedules for the Studio Leasing and Studio Operations departments as well as overheads for all departments.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Responsible for the consolidation and submission of all budgeting and forecasting schedules (detailed templates to be completed by each department’s FP&A Analyst) and analyses including, but not limited to, long term Time Warner Plan, annual operational budget, capital budgets, quarterly forecasts
- Ensure all capital projects are tracked accurately and on a timely basis in the Capital Budgeting System
- Perform monthly cashflow analysis on actual cashflows and forecast cashflows
- Prepare annual budget schedules and quarterly forecast schedules for revenue and cost of sales for Studio Leasing and Studio Operations
- Prepare annual budget schedules and quarterly forecast schedules for overheads for all departments
- Provide ad hoc analysis as required
- Review the Studios month end profit and loss account to ensure it is complete and accurate
- Provide business support for the management of Studio Leasing and Studio Operations
- Review the overheads for each department in the month end profit and loss accounts to ensure they are complete and accurate
EDUCATION AND SKILLS
- Must be part qualified accountant, preferably fully qualified or qualified by experience
- Strong excel experience
- Good working knowledge of SAP
- Previous experience in presenting analysis to non-accountants and senior management
- Previous experience in managing staff
- Strong experience in hands on analysis, this role will involve extensive use of detailed excel spreadsheets
- Extremely detail oriented
- Strong experience in:
