Appointment Scheduler/Switchboard - OrthoAtlanta - Atlanta, GA






Responsibilities


  • Answers a multi-line switchboard rapidly and directs the calls to destination without any delay.

  • Greets the customers, answer questions, declare calls or provide directions.

  • Schedules appointments and enters new patient data into the system.

  • Contributes to the morale and success of the office by service, teamwork, integrity, professionalism, compassion, respect, improvement and innovation of operations and a balance and commitment to work and family.

Requirements


  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Previous experience in a medical office is preferred

  • Clear communication style with impressive telephone etiquette

  • Ability to understand, and execute complex written and verbal instructions

  • Exceptional computer skills, good organizing and planning skills

  • Able to deliver excellent customer service, externally and internall

  • Able to react effectively and calmly in emergencies

  • Able to maintain customer confidentiality.
