We currently have the following position available:
Front Office/Administrative Support Specialist
With that said, our front office staff members are our front lines. They are the first to answer the phones, schedule appointments, collect payment, and ensure that every patient is acknowledged and welcomed with the utmost professionalism and customer service. First impressions are often found at the front desk, and our aim is to ensure that quality, compassion, and competence is provided to our patients at every single visit with us.
For this position, we require candidates with experience in the healthcare atmosphere and prefer knowledge of common medical terminology, experience in customer service, or a combination of the above with relevant education. This position requires the ability to navigate a multi-line phone system and to perform simple mathematical functions consistent with collecting and refunding payments when necessary. Experience with EMR software is preferred. This position also requires working collaboratively as a team, critical thinking, problem solving, and independent productivity in the workplace.
The work schedule for this position would be Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with rotating Saturdays (This position requires flexibility to adjust work schedule to meet the demands of the practice and all employees must complete/pass criminal background check and drug screen prior to hire).
