Mailroom Administrator New! - Nutramax Laboratories, Inc. - lancaster, SC

Responsibilities include the processing of incoming/outgoing mail, including taking mail to the post office. Also, includes inventory control for both mailroom and marketing materials. Additional responsibilities include order fulfillment for customer requests, along with assigned Customer Service duties as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Ensure that all mail and faxes are picked up, sorted, distributed and processed per mailroom schedule.


Pick up mail from 946 building and take mail to the post office daily.


Ensure all literature and premium requests are prioritized and processed according to domestic or international standards.


Ensure mailroom and literature racks are stocked.


Perform any or all mailroom administrative duties.


Communicate any issues with meeting deadlines or needing assistance with mailroom tasks in a professional and timely manner to the Customer Service Team Leader.


Monitor and maintain inventory levels for marketing materials by conducting physical counts of items on a quarterly basis. Report levels to marketing department and other department heads as appropriate.


Utilize electronic literature inventory system to account for marketing items


Receive and store literature and premiums upon delivery.


Consistently seek ways to consolidate space in the Premiums Room and warehouse area.


Ensure that Marketing Services/Purchasing Manager/Vet Project Coordinator is notified of any discrepancies upon verification of incoming literature and premiums.


Ensure that new literature and premiums are stored and added to the appropriate databases/forms at the directive of the Customer Service Team Leader or Product Manager.


Send notification to Customer Service when Office Supply order is being placed. Fill appropriate forms for Customer Service and Mailroom for supply order. Receive and distribute supplies.


Maintain Postage on postage meter as needed under the direction of your Team Leader.


Assist company wide as UPS Administrator.

Provide Metrics of Mailroom Operations on an as needed basis to Customer Service Team Leader

Manage assigned databases


Promote a team atmosphere within the Customer Service Department and overall organization through regular open communication, prioritization of tasks, general awareness of division projects and priorities, and a genuine respect for coworker roles within the organization


Perform other assigned duties as may be required in meeting company objectives


Communicate effectively with other departments within the organization and function within a team environment.

Assist Customer Service with telephone coverage and other tasks as assigned


Education & Experience:
Qualified candidates must possess the ability to handle multiple tasks, be detail oriented, have a professional manner, and work well in a team environment. Candidate will be required to regularly stand and assist with lifting and moving of packages up to approximately 50 lbs. Computer experience is desirable, preferably in a Windows environment with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Candidate must have reliable transportation.
