months Full-Time position-40 hrs/wk, 8 hrs/day, 5 days/wk Work Week- M-F, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Hourly Rate – $ 25.61/hr, no

Requirements: 18 yrs of age, high school graduate Meter Reader EEI test – successful score-administered by Company Valid
driver s license Partial Job Requirements: 1. Under directive supervision, reads electric meters and indexes readings in meter
book. 2. Checks all active and disconnected meters and services for grounds, company numbers, meter tampering, service
theft, etc. 3. Reports necessary changes in rate classification. 4. Promotes good public relations; reports complaints or inquiries
to the proper authority. 5. Takes training necessary to properly advise customers of Company policies, rates, etc. 6. May be
required to perform other related or less skilled work as directed. 7. Must be able to meet the public in a pleasant, tactful
manner. 8. Must have established reputation for being strictly honest in the custody of money or property. 9. Must be willing to
work under unusual or special working conditions and surroundings as well as the normal working conditions pertaining to this
job. Must be willing to work extra hours as required. 10. Must be a high school graduate. 11. Must possess a valid driver s
license. 12. Must use personal vehicle. 13. Must have successfully completed the EEI Selection Test, MR, prior to entry into this
classification. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF METER READING 1. Must be able to complete walk routes at a minimum of 5
hrs walk time daily at a non-leisurely pace on all types of terrain 2. Must be able to complete drive routes at a minimum of 200
stops opening and closing of vehicle door as well as entering and exiting the vehicle. 3. Must be able to lift large amount of
weights to gain entrance into cellar and trap doors. 4. Must be able to perform job in adverse weather conditions(Rain, Snow). 5.
Must be able to safely change flat tires on vehicle.
