Bright Horizons is looking for a Mail Room Coordinator who will provide general office support for a 3-building facility with 300+ employees. As the Office Services Coordinator you will be ordering supplies, sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail, courier packages (USPS, UPS, Fedex) and faxes. In addition, you will also be responsible for daily office responsibilities such as re-stocking kitchens, copy areas, cleaning conference rooms. Assist with other office service functions.
What you will be doing:
- Ensure overall cleanliness of office. Work with facilities group to resolve any facilities issues for central office.
- Assist with coordination of central office moves, including space planning, furniture, and telecommunications.
- Provide outstanding customer services with a willingness to go beyond the expectations of the position.
- Handle the majority of shipping and receiving, including packages and supplies.
- Interact with outside shipping and messenger companies.
- Operate all shipping programs; including USPS, Fed-Ex, UPS.
- Operate postage machines.
- Assist with the maintenance of the mail room.
- Provide back-up in other office service functions
What we hope you will bring to the table:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in all aspects of mailroom support.
- Must have Microsoft Office proficiency, including excel.
- Other qualifications include exceptional verbal and written communication skills; and ability to lift 50 pound paper boxes regularly.
