Powder Packaging Tech
We have an immediate opening for an experience Powder Packaging Tech. Basic Function: Filling powder into containers, labeling, inspection of product, and cleaning of equipment. This is a 2nd shift position and hours are 1pm to 9:30pm Monday-Friday. Must be able to work overtime and have own safety shoes. Needs to have 1-2 years exp. working in medical device, diagnostic food/vitamin processing or pharmaceutical manufacturing. Position is temp-to-hire and pay rate is $17.00 per hour plus .50 cent differential ($17.50)
Job duties:
- Moves finished product into quarantine storage
- Visual inspection of
- Taking finished product and packaging it into various
- Daily cleans
- Maintains work area and performs necessary housekeeping duties.
- Assures that correct samples are forwarded to
- Assures that proper logbooks are maintained and that all required documentation is properly filled out in a timely
- Assembles boxes for packaging and
- Reviews the schedule ahead of time and performs timely staging of required
- Suggests changes in departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
- Performs other duties as requested by Lead or Experience:
- High School diploma or
- 1-2 years of experience working in a medical device, diagnostic food/vitamin processing, or pharmaceutical manufacturing company
- Good work history with stability in jobs
- Experience in an FDA regulated manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of the metric system
- Ability to understand current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and good documentation practices (GDPs)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
We have a no facial hair policy in Production .
