United States of America: Communications and Digital Strategist

Position: Communications and Digital Strategist

Location: Washington, D.C.

About Relief International:

Work that inspires: Relief International is a multi-country relief and development organization with a 60-year history and a start-up spirit. Working in the areas of health, education, economic development and WASH*, we bridge the gap between humanitarian relief and long-term development. That means we run schools for refugees, find ways to bring water to drought-stricken communities, and help design sustainable livelihoods for some of the world’s most fragile areas.* *Look it up on Google. It’s cool!*

Smart, interesting colleagues: People who hail from all over the world. Who speak multiple languages. Who bring to the office stories of life in an Afghan village or the best way to shelter families after an earthquake. People who believe in change, and believe it’s their job to help communities make it a reality.

Can-do spirit: At Relief International, we pride ourselves on quick thinking, adaptability and a devotion to innovation in the communities we serve. Need an energy-efficient stove in Ghana? Done that. Want to offer rural Bangladesh job options that don’t involve man-eating tigers? We’ve got you covered.

Everybody counts: Our employees have the opportunity to get noticed and the support to realize their ideas. We value every voice, and encourage creative solutions.
