ASONS is currently seeking one (1) Property Maintenance Technician for its Fort Lauderdale, FL territory to be responsible for completing repair and maintenance work orders on tenant occupied residential homes. This position will work Monday through Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm (overtime as needed and approved). Must have a valid driver’s license. GC license is preferred. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Paint all surfaces & equipment, perform minor wall covering repairs Repair and maintain all home electrical, switches, outlets, bulbs, ceiling fans, exhaust fans, garage door openers, etc. Repair and maintain all plumbing, sinks, toilets, water heaters, tub/shower, etc. Repair and maintain all home appliances, including but not limited to dishwashers, range, refrigerator, washers/dryers, range hoods, and garbage disposals. Repair and maintain door locks and key systems. Perform minor construction work. Operate a smart phone to receive and close work orders using ASONS’ Vendor Portal App. Available on a 24 hour basis on a rotating shift to respond to customer needs 100% in state travel required Performs other duties as assigned EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Must possess a high school diploma or a GED and a minimum of six (6) months experience in the repair and maintenance industry. Must possess general handyman tools (list provided upon interview). Ability to operate a smart phone for receiving and closing work orders using ASONS’ Vendor Portal is required. Criminal background check, and MVR required.
