Are you a recent graduate from an Averitt approved driving school and looking to jump start your professional driving career? Look no further, Averitt has a unique student program partnered with our dedicated customer located in Ardmore, Oklahoma.
By participating in our Dedicated Student Driver Training Program , you’ll work with an Averitt driver-trainer to gain the experience and skills you need to become a full-time Dedicated Averitt driver .
That’s all it takes to get on the road to a rewarding dedicated driving career! _ Dedicated Student Driver Training Program: Must have graduated from one of our approved truck driving schools in the previous 120 days OR have 1 up to 4 months solo tractor trailer experience in the past year.
Must also meet job requirements listed below.
Must apply on-line only! Students will train with an Averitt driver trainer for a minimum of 5 weeks .
This is a paid training and will receive $600 per week while training .
Applicants will sign a STUDENT-DRIVER EDUCATION AND TRAINING REIMBURSEMENT AGREEMENT prior to hire.
However, upon successful completion of 6 months of employment following training, reimbursement will not apply and there will be no cost to you for your training ! Students will also earn $1,500 tuition assistance bonus .
($1,500 payable upon completing 6 months) _ After successful completion of the Dedicated Student Driver Training Program, you’ll be ready to help serve our dedicated general merchandise customer located in Ardmore, Oklahoma.
Drivers for this account must live within a 150 mile radius from the Averitt Service Center.
*Note: Local driving opportunities with daily home time available in Dallas and Oklahoma City only* This excellent career opportunity entails: – Picking up preloaded trailers at the customer’s distribution center in Ardmore – Making deliveries to retail stores located in Oklahoma, Texas and New Mexico- this is not a dedicated route/run.

– Once empty, you’ll return to the DC for your next load.
– This position requires unloading using roll-tainers, U-boats, and the trailer liftgate – Starting pay is 35.5 cpm with a top out pay of 37.5 cpm reached within 2 year – Weekly mileage varies, miles based on PC Miler-version 22.
– Stop pay provided at $27.50/stop; average 9-12 stops per week (varies) – Unloading pay provided at $42.50/empty trailer – You have the potential to earn a weekly average of $1,0! – You’ll enjoy regular home time – Assigned modern, well-maintained Volvo, Freightliner, or International Pro Star”most with automatic transmissions and APUs.
