Duties:
Position Overview: Seeking a full-time board certified or board eligible Family Practice or Internal Medicine Physician to provide care to veterans at the Minot, North Dakota, Community Based Outpatient Clinic. Incumbent will perform outpatient duties and management of scheduled and unscheduled patients, Monday through Friday, 8:00 – 4:30. Assigned panel of patients, panel size is determined by VHA PCMM software package, panel size is specific to their practice and setting. No emergency services on site. Salary is determined by the Physician’s Compensation Panel. Board Certification is preferred and the candidate must hold an active, unrestricted license to practice medicine in any state or territory of the United States. Non-citizens may be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with regulations. Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Physical Requirements: Heavy lifting and carrying (45 lbs. and over); straight pulling and pushing; reaching above shoulder; use of fingers; walking and standing (up to 4 hours); repeated bending;ability for rapid mental and muscular coordination simultaneously; near vision correctable at 13″ to 16″; hearing (aid permitted).
