This person will execute tests on Broadcom’s world class lineup WiFi combo modules targeted at the cellular and tablet markets. This will include station calibration, configuration, monitoring, and reporting. You will be exposed to a variety of different test equipment, process, and have the opportunity to interact with many of the other WiFi teams to learn the entire chip design process. There will be lots of opportunity to develop your debugging skills on both the hardware and the software side of things.
The tests will focus on the RF and physical layers including such typical parameters as EVM, and sensitivity and be run on a variety of test equipment. We work very closely with the systems team on site to get involved early in the product bring up stages and help drive them from bringup through to production, and ultimately you will see these products shipping in high volume in your favorite consumer electronics devices.
This person will interact with the design team, marketing and others to create test plans, schedule test stations, and drive defects to zero. As such a proactive person with strong communications skills is desired.
