Cares for Residents under direction of the Residential Nursing staff. Responsibilities include:
Responding to trouble calls with Resident Nurse to determine Resident’s needs.
Providing emergency response as needed.
Assists in CPR & AED response.
Maintaining records in accordance with Willow Valley Standards, documenting Resident Care.
Assists with preparing paperwork for Supportive Living transfers.
Assists with filling out menus for Residents who are ill.
Runs errands, directs visitors, and answers telephone as needed.
Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration rates as directed.
May check fingerstick blood sugars.
May check oxygen sauration with the use of a pulse oximeter.
Stores, prepares and issues PPE packs, treatment trays, and other supplies.
Orders, cleans, monitors and maintains medical supply equipment within the department.
Maintains and orders inventory.
Assists with providing shopping and transportation services within the boundaries of
Willow
Valley
transportation guidelines, including driving the
Willow
Valley
vehicles and escorting residents.
Assists with providing Home Care Agency Services to Residents within the boundaries of the Willow Valley Home Care Agency Service guidelines.
Other duties may be assigned.
Current CPR Certification or obtain CPR Certification within 90 days of hire date.
AED Training. Valid PA Driver’s License.
Successful completion of Willow Valley Driver’s Safety Course. All required
