3 Years OUTSIDE REP/SALES EXPERIENCE REQUIRED JOB TITLE: Merchandise Procurement REPORTS TO : Director of Operations Job purpose: To build donor relationships in the community to enhance growth and sales in ReStore.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESULTS:
- IDENTIFIES POTENTIAL DONORS, SCHEDULES MEETINGS WITH DONORS, & BUILDS RELATIONSHIPS with donors by effective networking, communication skills & follow up.
- CULITVATE PROSPECTIVE DONORS through research of potential donors, cold calls, full engagement in community networking events, and collaborative fundraising ventures.
- RETAIN RELATIONSHIPS with current donors by actively engaging on a regular basis.
- ACTIVELY PROMOTES DECONSTRUCTION PROGRAM for growth by spreading awareness – building deconstruction donor base with Construction Companies, General Contractors, Real Estate Companies, Assisted Living Facilities, Restaurants, Hotels, Renovators, HomeOwner Associations, Businesses, Kitchen Cabinet Companies, Interior Decorators, individual renovators, etc. Grow the deconstruction volunteer work force to support new business.
- DOCUMENTS COMPLETE PROCUREMENT PROCESS through use of Habitat approved software for tracking and recording donor contact, accordance with established policy and procedures. Tracks donor relationships through database.
- DAILY COMMUNICATION & WEEKLY REPORTING to Director of Operations.
- SET THE STANDARD OF EXCELLENCE IN SERVICE , working the Habitat for Humanity program with integrity, training staff and volunteers to this standard.
- DEVELOPS AND MAINTAINS A STEWARDSHIP PROGRAM to recognize frequent and large donors.
- LEARNS AND UNDERSTANDS THE DONATION STANDARDS AS SET BY THE RESTORE, working closely with ReStore manager to schedule any necessary collection of donations.
- MAINTAIN PROFESSIONAL AND TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks to keep current with industry standards.
- CONTRIBUTES TO A TEAM EFFORT by accomplishing related results as needed.
- ACTIVELY SERVES AS AN AMBASADOR for Habitat for Humanity within the community.

SALARY RANGE : $14 – $16 per hour related to experience and results.
