Arzoo Care’s Direct Care teammates, or as we call them, Extra Hands , are the on-the-ground service providers. They are our front line teammates. Extra Hands provide on-demand in-home care to patrons. We offer a menu of services to our clients, but we excel in providing companionship and improving quality of life of our patron. In addition to companionship (i.e. solving isolation for seniors), our service menu also includes personal care, medication reminders, meal and grocery prep, transportation assistance, housekeeping duties etc.
The job of an Extra Hand is demanding, but thoroughly rewarding. Extra Hand must be passionate about being a true companion to seniors. In addition, Extra Hands are professional in doing all of their duties, and radiate a positive attitude. They’re fun and personable individuals who are always happy to lend an extra hand to the patron with whatever they may need, but most importantly, they bring joy and energy to the home — the same joy and energy that drives the Arzoo team!
All Extra Hands are trained by Arzoo Care before they are deployed into the field, so applicants without HHA/CNA certification are encouraged to apply as well.
As an Extra Hand , you get to make your own schedule as a PRN/per diem teammate. Once you’ve applied and been through our training, you’ll use your own transport (having a car is a strict requirement to apply) and schedule to provide your services.
