An Engineering Consultant is required to provide specialist expertise in the design and performance evaluation of high performance electric motors for a company specialising in electrical power systems within the aviation industry. Based near Tring this position is offering a salary of up to £60,000 dependent on experience.
You will be evaluating the electromagnetic design and performance of new products, driving the development of new technology initiatives, resolving system performance issues, and providing specialist technical consultancy throughout the company.
You will hold a relevant engineering degree and have extensive experience in electrical machine design in a manufacturing environment. You will have experience with alternative electrical machine technologies, experience of FEA, and be proficient in the use of a range of electromagnetic design and analysis tools.
