A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a HGV Technician to join our client, a well-established Fleet Maintenance company, who provide quality repair on a variety of light commercial vehicles.
Due to the increase in workload the business now require two Vehicle Technicians, who have a team orientated approach to work, to join them on an ongoing contract basis at their busy site in Hemel Hempstead
As a Technician your role will involve:
* Service and Repair of a variety of light and heavy commercial vehicles
* MOT preparation
* Completion of all relevant paperwork
* Good Knowledge of VOSA regulations
* Strong communication skills
* Diagnosing faults using appropriate equipment
* Timely communication with the TIC/Workshop Supervisor regarding any issues
* Employing a ‘right first time’ approach to work
* Ensuring constant quality of work and working within appropriate job timings
* Repair of hydraulic drive systems where appropriate
This role is working in a modern, clean and dry workshop with up to date equipment no outdoor work to be done. You’ll benefit from an hourly rate of £15.50, day shifts, the opportunity for progression and permanent roles and working with a company who value Technicians with high standards. This would be a fantastic role for a technician who enjoys working in a busy workshop on a variety of vehicles, to realistic and achievable job timings and who gets the job right first time every-time

- Fully qualified Vehicle Technician status (NVQ level 3 or equivalent proven experience)
- Full driving license (Class 1 would be advantageous)
- Previous experience repairing and maintaining light commercial vehicles
There are two roles available, both working Monday to Friday, one at 25 hours per week and one at 38 hours per week.
