Rickmansworth Fire Station
£15,882 – £16,215 pa pro rata for 15 hours per week
This is an exciting opportunity in the Rickmansworth Fire Station which requires a high degree of sensitivity and common sense. The ability to respond quickly and sensibly to unexpected situations with the ability to use your own initiative is important as a fire station is seen by the public and outside organisations as being ‘a first port of call’ in urgent situations so a professional appearance and attitude are important.
The post holder needs to be able to maintain total confidentiality and they also need to be able to prioritise work according to the urgency/deadlines set, often working alone on the premises and therefore responsible for ensuring premises are locked up securely.
You will also need to be ready to assist at and help organise other functions such as station open days, public awareness days and recruitment drives and attend various training courses.
